{"id":9,"date":"2010-06-02T18:57:16","date_gmt":"2010-06-02T18:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epiblog.com\/?p=9"},"modified":"2010-06-02T18:57:16","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T18:57:16","slug":"sack-tapping-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.epiblog.com\/?p=9","title":{"rendered":"what kids do these days in school &#8211; today: sack tapping"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lately in the news there were at least two upsetting and worrisome &#8220;games&#8221; played by our kids while in school.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, there&#8217;s the &#8220;<strong>sack tapping<\/strong>&#8220;, which consists in hitting or slapping another boy in the &#8220;nuts&#8221;.<br \/>\nThis has become a trend, as more reports begin to surface in the media.<br \/>\nCases like the one from <em>Crosby Ironton High School in Minnesota<\/em>, where a boy lost a testicle due to this &#8220;game&#8221;, but doctors say these sort of problems are more and more frequent, and that we need to put a stop to this.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, in Europe this time, we learn that several 14-year old girls got pregnant while &#8220;playing&#8221; another game at their school in Ostroda, Poland.<br \/>\nIn this  &#8220;game&#8221; <em>(note the quotes, I have been using them a lot in this post)<\/em> the girls lay on the floor, in a star-shaped formation, with the eyes closed, while boys have sex with them.<br \/>\nThe winner is the boy that lasts longer. As creepy as this sounds, the teenagers actually played this &#8220;game&#8221; and as a result two of the teenagers have already gave birth.<\/p>\n<p>Just two cases, on two different continents, of &#8220;games&#8221;<em> (last one, I promise)<\/em> that leave a permanent mark on our children.And not a good one, I&#8217;m afraid.<br \/>\nA couple of years back, there was the <strong>&#8220;choking game&#8221;<\/strong>, which got several teenagers killed.
